Job summary

The Resource Recovery Attendant role with Lismore City Council focuses on supporting the safe, efficient operation of the Resource Recovery facility. You will perform a range of manual tasks, guide customers, and operate equipment to promote sustainable waste practices and maintain site safety.

Qualifications

• General construction induction and site safety knowledge.
• Valid licences and forklift operation skills.
• Experience in resource recovery or similar labouring roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tasks to support safe movement and recovery of waste materials.
• Deliver professional customer interactions with the community.
• Operate and maintain small plant and equipment safely.
