Job summary

Richmond Valley Council is seeking a Landfill & Resource Recovery Officer to support waste operations with data analysis and technical guidance. Based in Casino, you’ll work within a small team, delivering asset management aligned with the Community Strategic Plan.

The role is full-time with a competitive salary and 12% superannuation. You’ll engage in safety-focused practices and continuous improvement across our waste programs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and be adaptable to change.
• Able to work effectively in a small team and independently.
• Experience working in waste management or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support landfill and waste operations through data analysis and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance and asset management in line with the Council plan.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
