City of Bunbury invites applications for an Environmental Sustainability Officer to enhance sustainability and climate resilience across the organisation. You will prepare and implement strategic plans, liaise with stakeholders, and drive emission reduction initiatives while supporting coastal and natural resource management.

The role leads the Climate Action and Sustainability Working Group and collaborates with a diverse team to empower the community and achieve tangible environmental outcomes.

Formación

• Degree in Sustainability or Environmental Management or equivalent.
• Experience in Australia beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and implement strategic and operational sustainability plans.
• Liaise with stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
• Coordinate, implement, monitor and improve sustainability and emission reduction initiatives.
• Lead the Climate Action and Sustainability Working Group for community guidance.
• Support broader environmental aspects including coastal and natural resource management.
