Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a Sustainability Advisor to lead community-focused climate action and environmental sustainability initiatives within the Climate and Environment Resilience team. The role delivers programs to reduce emissions and helps embed sustainability into Council operations and decision-making.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, community groups and regional partners, providing specialist advice and ensuring projects meet objectives,

Competenze

• Tertiary qualification in climate change, environmental policy, environmental science, environmental management or related field, with practical experience.
• Experience designing, delivering and evaluating climate change or environmental programs in community or organisational settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to explain complex issues.
• Strong project management with ability to manage priorities, budgets and timelines.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
