Job summary

Swinburne University of Technology is seeking an experienced Energy and Sustainability Analyst to lead analysis, governance and reporting of environmental performance data. Based at the Hawthorn campus, the role drives insights for Net Zero progress and supports governance across the university.

You will be the subject matter expert on sustainability data, shaping reporting inputs (emissions, utilities) and ensuring data accuracy for internal and external reporting and certification purposes.

Qualifications

• Establish data governance for environmental usage data, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and complete
• Monitor environmental data provided by other teams, and source and record other environmental data to deliver a total footprint view
• Act as business owner for environmental performance data and sustainability reporting inputs, including emissions, utilities and certification evidence
• Prepare or contribute to internal and external sustainability reports to demonstrate Swinburne’s commitment to sustainability and performance against targets
• Support engagement with government agencies, NGOs, private industry, and the broader Swinburne community to enrich sustainability outcomes

Responsibilities
