Job summary

RAW BAR, a Sushi Restaurant in Bondi Beach, is hiring a qualified sushi chef to join the hot section on a full-time basis. You will manage all aspects of kitchen operations, with focus on sushi, sashimi and Japanese cuisine.

We offer a fantastic Bondi Beach location with convenient transport access. Remuneration is negotiable by experience and will be discussed upon a successful application.

Qualifications

• Experienced fully qualified sushi chef.
• 3 years experience in sushi, sashimi and Japanese cuisine.
• Hot service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food cost and ensure cost controls are followed.
• Receive goods from suppliers and ensure receiving protocols.
• Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with front of house staff.
• Store and label all food in storage according to standards.

We're thrilled to announce the exciting restaurant in Bondi Beach, Raw Bar located on Warners Aveis looking for more chefs.

An exciting new opportunity for Experienced Sushi Chefs to join our Bondi Beach sushi bar on a full-time basis starting immediately.

Your daily duties will include all aspects of a Chef role.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you:

Are an experienced fully qualified sushi chef

Have 3 yrs experience in sushi, sashimi and Japanese cuisine

Hot service experience also necessary

Monitoring food cost;

Receiving goods from suppliers, ensure all receiving of goods protocol are met in accordance to Company policy;

Enforcing food safety and hygiene regulations;

Collaborate with front of house staff;

Ensure storing of food complies to food safety standards, labeling of all food in storage;
