Job summary

HQ Migration Solutions – Rockhampton City QLD is seeking experienced Surveyors/Surveying Technicians to join our growing Queensland team. This full-time, permanent role offers exposure to large infrastructure projects and the use of the latest survey equipment.

Based in Rockhampton, you will work closely with the State Manager on-site, delivering project outcomes on time and within budget. A Diploma/Degree in surveying and 2+ years post-qualification experience are required; Australian residency

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in surveying is required.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification surveying experience.
• Australian residency and the right to live and work in Australia.
• Leica equipment and 12d field experience desirable.
• Understanding of infrastructure projects desirable.
• Confidence to work with clients and subcontractors on site.
• Ability to deliver project outcomes within time frames and on budget.
• Valid Australian driver's license and White card.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the State Manager on QLD projects.
• Join large infrastructure works in the Metro or nearby sites.
• Utilise the latest survey equipment on site.

The Role We are seeking for experienced Surveyors / Surveying Technicians to join our growing QLD team working closely with the State Manager.

This position will be working on full-time large infrastructure works in the Metro, or a group of smaller works. In return you will be rewarded with professional development opportunities, career progression, the use of the latest survey equipment and get exposure to a diverse range of projects. This position is a true Rockhampton-based opportunity, with no pressure for the role to evolve into having FIFO requirements.

To be successful you’ll need:

• A Diploma or Degree in surveying is required
• Minimum 2 years post qualification surveying experience
• Australian residency and the right to live and work in Australia
• Leica equipment and 12d field experience is desirable
• An understanding of infrastructure projects is desirable
• Confidence to work with clients and subcontractors on site
• Ability to deliver project outcomes to client expectations within project time frames and on budget
• Valid Australian drivers’ license
• White card.
