Murray & Associates (QLD) Pty Ltd is expanding our Emerald office and seeking a Surveyor, Graduate Surveyor or Survey Technician to join our team. Based in Emerald, you will work on diverse projects across Central Highlands, delivering land development, infrastructure and cadastral work with a supportive team.

We offer hands-on experience with modern equipment, mentoring from senior professionals, and a clear pathway for growth in a respected Queensland consultancy.

Qualifications

• Qualification (or progress toward) Surveying, Spatial Science or related discipline.
• UAV licence desirable but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and cadastral surveys and collect accurate field data.
• Operate modern surveying equipment and technology.
• Prepare survey plans, reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with surveyors, town planners and drafting teams.
• Liaise with landholders, clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure survey accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support field operations and equipment maintenance.
• Contribute to safe work practices and project planning.

About the Role

Based in our Emerald office, you will work as part of our surveying team delivering projects across the Central Highlands region.

Depending on your experience, your role may involve:
