Job summary

Mcmullen Nolan Group (MNG) is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our national firm, relocating from Melbourne to Brisbane for a permanent full-time role. You will undertake complex surveys across high-rise development and land projects while liaising with key stakeholders and principals.

Join a team that leverages drones, mobile laser scanning, terrestrial scanning, and QLD regulatory knowledge, with access to a company vehicle and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in spatial sciences or similar and knowledge in surveying.
• Eligible or soon to be eligible registered with the QLD Surveyors Board.
• Driver's License.
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of complex surveys across high-rises construction, land development and other nationally significant projects.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress, communicating with Project Directors, Managers & the Survey Manager.
• Ensure all surveying equipment and motor vehicles are maintained in accordance with MNG Workplace Health and Safety and Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
• Adhere to WHS policies, ensuring a safe working environment.

What you bring to the table

We are seeking a Surveyor who is looking to work as part of a team where there is the opportunity to take on a diverse range of projects with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake a range of complex surveys across high-rises construction, land development and other nationally significant projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress. You will also communicate regularly with Project Directors, Managers & the Survey Manager.
• Ensure all surveying equipment and motor vehicles are maintained in accordance with MNGWorkplace Health and Safety and Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
• Adhere to WHS policies, ensuring a safe working environment

What you will also need

• You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (spatial sciences or similar) & knowledge in surveying.
• Preferably eligible or soon to be eligible registered with the QLD Surveyors Board
• Drivers' License
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
