ESO Surveyors in Rockhampton, QLD is seeking a qualified Surveyor to join the local team on a major roadworks project. The role suits a local candidate reporting to the Queensland State Manager, with opportunities to contribute to successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Associate Degree in Surveying, or registration with the Surveyors Board, plus 2+ years of survey experience. Proficiency with Leica, 12D, and BIM is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree minimum or registration with the Surveyors Board as an Associate or higher.
• 2+ years of survey experience required.
• Australian residency and right to work in Australia.
• Leica equipment and 12D modelling/field experience desirable.
• 3D laser scanning and BIM experience well regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction fieldwork and site office work in accordance with TMR specifications.
• Ensure survey work is carried out efficiently.
• Advise clients on surveying and spatial information relating to their project.
• Provide solutions to survey problems.
• Ensure reports and work-as-executed plans are completed and delivered to client in a timely manner.

Your Role

As aSurveyorin Rockhampton, you will be joining an existing local team and working on a major roadworks project. This role will suit someone local to the area. Reporting to the QLD State Manager, this is a great opportunity to join our experienced QLD Team and drive the successful completion and delivery of the project.

You’ll:

• Perform construction fieldwork and site office work in accordance with TMR specifications
• Ensure Survey work is carried out efficiently

• Provide solutions to survey problems
• Ensure reports and work-as‑executed plans are completed and delivered to client in a timely manner

What You’ll Bring

• Diploma or Associate Degree minimum and/or Registration with the Surveyors Board as an Associate or higher
• 2+ years of survey experience is required
• Australian residency and the right to live and work in Australia
• Leica equipment and 12D model/field experience desirable
• Ability to do own 12d modelling, calculations, reporting and drafting desirable
• 3D laser scanning and BIM experience well regarded
• Motivation and be a self‑starter, who will be supported by our Project Manager
• Valid Australian drivers’ licence and white card.
