Job summary

Ertech is seeking Surveyors for a major Brownfields LNG project in Onslow, WA. Roles range from Graduate to Senior Surveyors, offering exposure to civil and concrete construction surveying and a collaborative project team.

Roster options include 2:1, 2:2 and 3:1 to suit lifestyle. You will report to the Geospatial Manager and ensure accurate field data and design interpretation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in an Engineering or Construction Surveyor role.
• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience using Total Stations and GPS/GNSS receivers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and Aviation Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Valid Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver topographic, construction, as-built and End of Month surveys.
• Set out civil and concrete works, interpret engineering drawings and identify design changes.
• Work closely with engineers, project teams, clients and subcontractors to resolve survey requirements.
• Utilise surveying equipment and software to deliver accurate results.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
• Promote safe surveying practices while mentoring junior team members.

We’re looking for Surveyors across a range of experience levels, from Graduate Surveyors through to experienced Senior Surveyors, to join our project team.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Geospatial Manager, you'll provide survey support across the project and play an important role in ensuring construction activities are delivered accurately and efficiently.

• Deliver accurate topographic, construction, as-built and End of Month surveys.
• Set out civil and concrete works, interpret engineering drawings and identify design changes that may impact construction.
• Work closely with engineers, project teams, clients and subcontractors to resolve survey requirements and keep works progressing.
• Utilise modern surveying equipment and software to deliver accurate and efficient results.
• Manage, maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure you're always ready for the field.
• Promote safe surveying practices while supporting and mentoring junior team members and maintaining HSEQ standards.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for Surveyors who are technically capable, safety-focused and enjoy working as part of a collaborative project team.

To Be Successful, You'll Have

• 2+ years’ experience in an Engineering or Construction Surveyor role, with exposure to concrete or civil construction highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualifications in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma preferred).
• Experience using surveying equipment including Total Stations and GPS/GNSS receivers.
• Proficiency in relevant surveying and design software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• A Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and Aviation Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) are desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Valid Australian Working Rights.
