Job summary

Ertech in Western Australia seeks an experienced Site Engineer (Electrical) to support our Rockingham-based major infrastructure project. You will assist planning, coordination and delivery of electrical works, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with programme and contract requirements.

You will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, have at least two years on electrical infrastructure projects, and be eligible for security and police clearances.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on electrical infrastructure and construction projects.
• White Card - CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance (essential).
• Australian Defence background (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of assigned project works.
• Monitor site progress to ensure works meet design, quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical support and advice across construction activities and project delivery.
• Assist with procurement and the coordination of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the delivery of works within budget, programme and quality requirements.
• Identify project issues and contribute to practical and effective solutions.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, clients and key stakeholders.
• Support and comply with project HSEQ requirements, standards and procedures.

About Us

The Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) is a specialist Defence infrastructure delivery partnership with a strong track record in delivering major infrastructure works at HMAS Stirling, Western Australia’s premier naval base. About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer (Electrical) to join our Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) supporting our long-term major infrastructure construction scopes in Rockingham.

As the Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical works, ensuring project activities are completed safely and in line with technical, quality, programme and contractual requirements.

The person appointed to this role will be employed by Ertech and seconded to the Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture.

Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working on electrical infrastructure and construction projects.
• White Card - CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance (essential)
• Australian Defence background (highly regarded).
