Job summary

Hall & Prior Aged Care Group is seeking a Construction Surveyor to deliver precise setouts and field surveys across South East Queensland’s civil and infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes accuracy, autonomy and collaboration with clients and site teams.

The successful candidate will perform fieldwork, manage survey data and contribute to project success while enjoying flexible hours and a company car arrangement. Brisbane-based with work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Surveyor in construction.
• Experience using Trimble or Leica survey equipment.
• Current registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork for construction setouts, identification surveys, contour and detail surveys, as-constructed surveys and subdivisions.
• Complete physical setouts of jobs, including placement of pegs, nails and paint.
• Perform calculations, field surveys and data reductions to ensure accurate project outcomes.
• Liaise with clients and site managers to understand project requirements.
• Coordinate with various teams to resolve issues and ensure project efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all job activities, including dockets.

To support their continued business growth, they are seeking a motivated Construction Surveyor to join their team and grow alongside the company.

About The Opportunity
