Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking an experienced Survey Lead to drive surveying strategy and execution on the HS2 Track Systems contract. The role will oversee design and construction survey activities, control networks, setting out, reality capture, and as-built verification, ensuring digital workflows and innovations are embedded across the programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level engineering surveying experience on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering high-speed rail and slab track works.
• Leadership experience within a Tier 1 contractor or major JV (desirable).
• Degree, HND or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Survey Management Plan for the HS2 Track Systems contract.
• Lead survey activities across design and construction, including survey control networks, setting out, monitoring, reality capture, GIS, as-built verification and final handover.
• Lead technical assurance and quality control, ensuring HS2 requirements, industry standards and client specifications are met.
• Plan and coordinate survey works across Lots and key interfaces to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Mentor surveying teams and promote professional development.
