JFP Urban Consultants Pty is seeking a Survey Drafter to join our team, with options for either Sunshine Coast or Brisbane base. The role involves drafting survey plans and associated documentation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

We welcome part-time or full-time applicants who pride themselves on accuracy and problem solving. The position supports diverse land development, residential and infrastructure projects across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Experience in survey drafting and plans per Queensland legislation (Registrars Directions for the Preparation of Plans) is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SurvaCAD is required; 12d Model experience is advantageous.
• Attention to technical accuracy, problem solving and delivery of quality outcomes.
• Ability to manage own workload while contributing to a collaborative project environment.
• Clear, professional communication with a range of colleagues and disciplines.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey plans, calculations and documentation for land development, building subdivisions and leases.
• Undertake lot calculations and cadastral drafting using CAD software.
• Coordinate survey and design data across urban design, engineering and landscape disciplines.
• Collaborate with surveyors, planners, engineers and project team members to support delivery.
• Support engineering teams with ADAC processing, reporting and deliverables.
• Ensure drafting outputs meet legislative requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain high accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of surveying workflows and drafting procedures.
