Job summary

The Sutherland Hospital in Caringbah, Sydney is recruiting Registered Nurses for surgical services to join the Nurse Bank. Roles are permanent or temporary with a minimum of two days per week and include extended rotations across surgical areas.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, deliver high-quality care, and participate in seven-day rosters. The position requires current Australian RN registration, strong communication, and engagement with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and deliver patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in surgical areas.
• Backfill temporary vacancies and participate in seven-day rotating rosters.
