Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Townsville seeks a Surfacing Estimator to support the Infrastructure Services team. The role focuses on preparing first-principles estimates for asphalt and spray seal works, coordinating tender processes, and communicating with clients and subcontractors to secure opportunities across Northern Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have experience in road surfacing, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Benchmark estimating software, MS Projects, and relevant

Qualifications

• First principles estimates for asphalt and spray seal works.
• Experience managing the tender process from start to finish.
• Reviewing all tender documentation and coordinating pricing packages.
• Attending onsite tender briefings/site visits as required.
• Preparing risk and opportunity analyses and presentations for stakeholders/clients.
• Knowledge of road surfacing (asphalt/spray seal) is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Experience with MS Projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Benchmark or similar estimating packages is highly regarded.
• Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Commerce or Construction Management are preferable but not essential.
