Job summary

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Surface Coordinator / Technical Specialist for a long-term opportunity at BRM in Queensland. This role coordinates surface operations, capital works, and environmental maintenance while supporting underground mining activities.

OCE-qualified candidates are highly regarded. You will oversee surface maintenance, infrastructure, and projects, coordinating contractors and stakeholders to achieve safe, compliant outcomes and drive operational improvements across

Qualifications

• Experience in mining operations, project coordination, maintenance coordination, or supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of surface and/or underground coal mining operations.
• Experience coordinating maintenance, infrastructure, environmental, or capital project activities.
• Ability to influence operational outcomes and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and site standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surface activities that support underground mining operations.
• Oversee surface maintenance, infrastructure and capital works projects.
• Support underground operations through planning and coordination.
• Run environmental maintenance and compliance programs.
• Coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders to meet project outcomes.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Provide technical and operational support across surface and underground.
• Maintain compliance with site safety and environmental standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
