Job summary

Pathway Talent is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers for casual and contract roles across the community. You will provide ICARE & NDIS support in clients' homes, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence and dignity.

You’ll engage in personal care, meal prep, medication administration, transport, and community access while upholding safety and respect. Requirements include Certificate III in relevant field, current First Aid & CPR, NSW Driver’s Licence,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN, or equivalent.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Working with Children Check.
• National Police Check (within 3 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module.
• Ability to lift up to 10 kg unassisted.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Empathy and respect for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Provide ICARE & NDIS support to individuals in their own home.
• Support mobility and transport, promoting independence and community engagement.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will empower people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals, build independence, and stay connected with their communities.

For this particular role we are looking for staff to work across the community to provide ICARE & NDIS support to individuals in their own home.

You will assist with a range of daily living activities, including (but not limited to) personal care, manual handling, meal preparation, medication administration, household tasks, community access, and transport. At all times, you will promote dignity, respect, and individual choice.

What you’ll need

• Minimum Qualifications certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent;or
• University students welcome to apply (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, and related fields)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module
• Ability to lift up to 10kg unassisted
