Job summary

Pathway Talent is seeking Support Workers to empower clients with disability, aged care and mental health needs across NSW. Roles include in-home and in-supported accommodation support with personal care, meal prep, medication administration and mobility tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent.
• Experience in supporting clients with complex needs and behaviours is desirable.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification and NSW Driver’s Licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and daily living support.
• Assist with mobility, household tasks, transport and community access.
• Promote dignity, respect and client independence in all interactions.
• Work in clients' homes or supported accommodation across NSW regions.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will empower people from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals, build independence, and stay connected with their communities.

We are looking for staff to provide NDIS, Icare and Aged Care support to individuals in their own home or in supported accomodation across multiple Regions of NSW.

You will assist with a range of daily living activities, including (but not limited to) personal care, manual handling, meal preparation, medication administration, household tasks, community access, and transport. At all times, you will promote dignity, respect, and individual choice.

What you’ll need

• Minimum Qualifications certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Mental Health, AIN or equivalent;or
• University students welcome to apply (Allied Health, Nursing, OT, and related fields)
• Experience in supporting clients with complex needs and behaviours (Desirable)
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check (within 3 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module
• Ability to lift up to 10kg unassisted
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
