Job summary

Wattle Tree Country Retreat in Maryborough, VIC, is seeking compassionate Disability and/or Aged Care Support Workers for casual shifts. You will support participants in their own homes, respite settings, and SIL environments, promoting independence and community participation.

You’ll work flexible days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers, helping with daily living tasks and maintaining accurate records. Eligibility includes Cert III/Cert IV and a valid screening check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a disability support worker role or in a similar position (essential)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Driver’s licence, reliable car and comprehensive car insurance.
• Effective communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills
• Sound and effective time management skills

Wattle Tree Support Services is a Registered NDIS Provider, offering innovative Disability Support Services in the Maryborough VIC area

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability and/or Aged Care Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. These roles involves supporting people on the NDIS living with disabilities within their own home, within a respite setting and in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting. And Aged Care worker supporting with older people within their homes and in the community. You will work alongside participants to promote independence, wellbeing, and community participation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting people with daily living tasks (meals, household duties, personal care as needed).
• Encouraging independence, skills, and confidence.
• Helping people stay connected with their community and enjoy activities they love.
• Following support plans and keeping simple, accurate records
