Job summary

Discovering You Support Services (DYSS) is seeking reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in Maryborough. This role involves providing personal care, daily living supports, and community access for participants in SIL and community settings.

Eligible candidates hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, have experience with challenging behaviours, and can work a rotating roster with sleepovers. We offer training and development in a rapidly expanding organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable, resilient, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

This role involves supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community settings.

Availability Requirements (Essential)

To be considered, you MUST be able to:

• Work a rotating roster (including weekends)
• Complete sleepover shifts (essential requirement)
• Be available for a mix of:
  • Day shifts
  • Afternoon/evening shifts
  • Sleepovers

This is a non-negotiable requirement due to participant support needs.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
• Experience working with challenging behaviours
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Medication competency

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in SIL environments
• Mental health support experience
• Experience working with challenging behaviours
• Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle
