Job summary

Accept Care is seeking qualified community care workers to support clients in Wayville, SA. The role involves assisting with daily living, personal care, and social support, guided by care plans and supported by a dedicated office team.

You will work 7 days a week with shifts from 10am to midnight, in a flexible arrangement including permanent or casual contracts. Experience in aged care or disability work is preferred, with a strong emphasis on communication and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Aged Care or Disability is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC are essential.
• Manual handling, infection control, and first aid/CPR training are needed.
• Valid driver licence with access to a registered vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Deliver social support and help around the home.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Notify coordinators of changes or concerns and follow care plans.

About The Role

We are building a team of qualified care workers to support one of our clients through the week in Wayville. You’ll support them to live independently and safely in their own home and community. This hands-on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a dedicated office team.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing), social support & help around the home for daily living needs.
• Some domestic support including mopping, vacuuming and general cleaning.
• Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators.
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients.

Work Locations - Wayville

Shift details - 7 days a week, 10am to Midnight finish (12am)

About You

You are caring, passionate about supporting others and experienced in community support work. You have great communication skills and treat all clients with care and professionalism.
