Job summary

Accept Care in Adelaide region seeks compassionate community support workers to assist aged care clients and NDIS participants to live independently at home. This hands-on role includes personal care, daily living tasks and building meaningful connections, guided by care plans and supported by a dedicated office team.

You will provide personal care, social support and home help while following care plans and maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• WWCC.
• Manual handling certificate.
• Infection control knowledge.
• First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Driver license and access to a registered/roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Provide social support and help around the home.
• Domestic duties including cleaning and upkeep.
• Encourage community connection and personal goal achievement.

About The Role

You’ll support the Aged care clients and NDIS participants to live independently and safely in their own homes and communities. This hands‑on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a dedicated office team.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing), social support & help around the home for daily living needs.


• Some domestic support including mopping, vacuuming and general cleaning.


• Encourage community connection and personal goal achievement.


• Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators.


• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients.

About You

You are caring, passionate about supporting others and experienced in community support work. You have great communication skills and treat all clients with care and professionalism.

You’ll also bring:
