Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Home Care Worker in Tweed Heads to support elderly clients in their homes. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday, providing practical care and enabling independence for clients in the local community.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate, travel time and kilometre allowances, along with a supportive, inclusive workplace and opportunities for growth within a leading human services organisation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred or a strong desire to start a career in aged care.
• Provisional or full Australian driving licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping trips and social activities.
• Personal Care: assist with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance and medication administration.

Pay Rate: $36.23 - $37.68 per hour + 99c per km and travel time
