Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker for a permanent part-time role based in the Central Coast region, covering Bateau Bay to Mt White. You will provide essential in-home care to elderly clients, supporting daily activities and wellbeing while promoting independence.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate ($36.23–$37.68) plus km travel reimbursement, a $500 bonus at 6 and 12 months, salary packaging, and flexibility to support work-life balance in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Medication Competency Certificate.
• Provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

Pay Rate: $36.23 - $37.68per hour + 99c per km and travel time

About the Role:
