Rocky Bay is seeking Support Workers to assist people living with disability in shared accommodation across Mosman Park, Hamilton Hill and Como. You will provide hands‑on personal care, daily living support and mobility assistance tailored to each individual’s goals.

The role requires flexible shifts, strong communication, and dedication to meaningful, independent living. Previous PEG feeding/hoist transfer experience and a current Driver’s Licence are essential or desirable components of the

• Maintain accurate case notes, timesheets and incident reports

Salary: $30.50 – $38.50 per hour + Salary Packaging
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
Roster: Monday–Sunday (flexible availability required)
Locations: Mosman Park, Hamilton Hill, Como

Multiple Roles Available - Due to the nature of personal care and support some rosters may request female applicants.

About the Role

As a Support Worker at Rocky Bay, you’ll support people living with disability to feel at home, build independence and live life on their terms.

Working within shared accommodation, you’ll provide hands‑on support with daily routines, personal care, household tasks and mobility support. You’ll get to know each customer, understand what matters to them and support them to achieve their goals.

You’ll work with people with a range of sensory, physical and intellectual disabilities, including customers with complex needs and behaviours. Every customer is different, and your support will be tailored to the person.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, medication and household tasks
• Build positive, trusting relationships with customers
• Support customers to develop skills and independence
• Support customers with mobility, transfers, hoisting and other physical assistance as required.
• Follow person‑centred support plans and respond to individual needs
• Maintain accurate case notes, timesheets and incident reports

About You

• Passionate about supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives
• Reliable, patient and person‑centred
• Available for a variety of shifts and times
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and confident supporting complex needs and behaviours
• Experience in PEG feeding and hoist transfers for complex high care needs
• Previous support work experience with complex disabilities
• Experience or knowledge of Active Support
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is desirable
• Valid Driver’s Licence essential
