Job summary

Dimensions in Ipswich is seeking a Support Worker to assist three gentlemen who communicate through visual cues. You will help them access activities, promote independence and support daily living in the community.

You will participate in personal care, meals, medication administration and daily routines, with some sleep-ins. A full UK driving licence is required and cooking meals to individual needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support three gentlemen in their 30s who communicate visually through body language, facial expressions, symbols and pictures.
• Promote independence, build confidence and help maintain connections within the community.
• Provide 1:1 support in swimming-related activities and assist with personal care, meals and daily routines.
• Support with medication administration, meal preparation, household tasks and driving if needed.
• Cook a variety of meals based on preferences and dietary requirements, adapting as required.
• Shifts include early to late hours across Monday to Sunday with some sleep-in shifts.
