Job summary

Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, provides in-home care across Sydney to help people live independently with dignity. We’re seeking compassionate Support Workers for Inner West, Ryde, St George, Northern Beaches and beyond.

Opportunities include Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care. Responsibilities cover daily activities, personal care, meal prep and transport. Ideal candidates have 1+ year aged care or disability support experience and valid checks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support.
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable.
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable.
• NDIS Worker Check or Police Check (or willing to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
• COVID-19 vaccination (at least 2 doses).
• Own vehicle with insurance.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients during daily activities, running errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene (showering/dressing).
• Performing household tasks (cleaning/clothes care).
• Providing social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments; Live-in care available.

About The Role

We are searching for passionate Support Workers to join our Mounties Care Team supporting our areas in Sydney's Inner West. There are multiple opportunities available - Casual, Part-time, Overnight and Live-In Care!

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointmentsLive in Care services (for the right candidate)

About You

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• 1+ year experience in aged care or disability support
• Cert III in Individual Support or similar – desirable
• Disability or dementia experience – desirable
