Job summary

Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, provides in-home care that supports people to live independently with dignity. We’re seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Queensland, including but not limited to the following areas:

Coomera, Currumbin, Robina, Southport, Logan. We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team on a casual or part-time basis across Logan, QLD.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in aged care or disability for at least 1 year.
• NDIS clearance or willing to obtain.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid with CPR or willing to obtain.
• Own car and relevant insurances.
• Dementia care qualification desirable.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands and outings.
• Food preparation and shopping.
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing.
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes.
• Providing social interaction and companionship.
• Transport to appointments.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across Logan, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis.

More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May Include

• Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
• Food preparation and shopping
• Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
• Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
• Providing social interaction and companionship
• Transport to appointments

About You

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
• Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
• Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
• Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
• Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
• Must have own car & relevant insurances
• Dementia care qualification – desirable
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
