Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide essential in-home care for elderly clients in Mount Druitt & Surrounds. The position is permanent part-time and Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of AUD 36.23–AUD 37.68 per hour plus 99c per km and travel time.

The role focuses on helping clients maintain independence at home, including housekeeping, personal care, and transport to appointments. A relevant qualification and a valid Australian driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic and resourceful, embodying Uniting's values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs.

Responsibilities
