Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Home Care Worker to support elderly clients in Moruya/Narooma. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday and offers meaningful in-home care that promotes independence and quality of life for the community.

You will provide practical assistance, including housekeeping, meals, personal care, and transport to activities while maintaining safety and dignity in clients’ homes. A driving licence is required, and flexible hours help balance commitments.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, groceries, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping trips and activities.
• Personal care support including hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance and medication administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

• A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle.
