Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide practical care in clients' homes around Moruya/Narooma. This permanent part-time role supports independence and improves quality of life for elderly clients.

You will help with daily tasks, transport clients to activities, and assist with personal care, medication administration, and meal prep. A valid driver's license and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic and resourceful, embodying Uniting's values.
• Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs.
• A provisional or full Australian driving license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal care: support with hygiene, showering, dressing, meals and medications.

Pay Rate: $36.23 - $37.68per hour + 99c per km and travel time

About the Role
