Job summary

Calvary Brelsford – Coffs Harbour, NSW is seeking a Care Support Worker (Laundry) on a casual basis. You will join a friendly team delivering clean laundry services to residents in alignment with infection control and WH&S standards.

This role supports the delivery of safe and hygienic laundry operations within a large health care provider. Your duties include sorting, washing, drying and distributing clothing and linen, maintaining stock of clean linen and consumables, and adhering to position

Qualifications

• Experience in Aged Care (desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
• Knowledge and experience in safe chemical handling (desirable).
• Commercial laundry experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain environmental service standards and a clean, safe resident environment.
• Collects, sorts, washes, dries, sorts and distributes clothing and linen as per laundry instructions.
• Ensures adequate stocks of clean linen, towels and laundry skip bags are available in designated storage areas.

About the role

The Support Worker – Laundry will support the delivery of a safe and clean laundry service for residents in alignment with appropriate standards.

Key Responsibilities
