Livit Disability Support is seeking a casual Support Worker in Kingston Se, SA to empower people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing compassionate, personalised support that enables participation in the community.

You will assist with personal care, household tasks, and advocate for client rights while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the team. A Certificate III in Individual Support is required, with additional checks and licenses as specified.

Formación

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent) required or student welcome.
• Current Australian driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check.
• First Aid, CPR and Safe Environments for Children & Young People.
• Access to a personal mobile phone or device with internet access.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 roster including passive overnight shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support with household duties including meal preparation, cleaning and laundry.
• Advocate for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring their rights and choices are respected.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised support plans.

Casual position's available for female candidates rostered over mornings, afternoons, passive shifts over a 7-day week, in our kingston team.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives by providing compassionate, personalised support that allows them to thrive and participate actively in their communities.

Livit Disability Support has charitable status for Fringe Benefits Tax purposes and is therefore able to offer attractive taxation benefits with up to $15,900 tax free per year and $2,650 tax free to use towards meals and entertainment per year through salary sacrifice!

Novated Leasing is available through salary packaging, for the financing and running cost of a new, ex-demo or used car!

You may be eligible for Remote Living Benefits to salary package 50% of rent or mortgage interest costs, utilities, and some other household costs! Not for Mount Gambier

What you'll be doing

What you'll need to have

• A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability (or equivalent) students welcomed
• A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• Passion for health and safety demonstrated through maintaining First Aid, CPR & Safe Environments for Children & Young People
• Access to a personal mobile phone or device with internet access
• A positive attitude with flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster including passive overnight shifts
