Job summary

Care Connect - Community Care Provider is seeking dedicated Home Care Support Workers to help Australians stay independent and safe in their own homes across Randwick and surrounding areas.

Role involves domestic tasks, personal care, meal prep, mobility support and social companionship. Applicants should have relevant certificates or 3 months paid care experience, and must have working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Home & Community Care required or equivalent.
• Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (including first-year students) considered.
• Candidates without relevant qualifications must have at least three months of paid care work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry.
• Offer personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with meal preparation and shopping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support mobility and facilitate community access.
• Deliver social support and companionship.

Before You Apply

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Availability to work at least three weekdays (Monday to Friday)
• Ability to independently travel between clients' throughout North Sydney & Sydney CBD (No Car Required)

As a Home Care Support Worker, you'll help Australians maintain their independence and quality of life by providing:

• Domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Meal preparation and shopping assistance
• Medication reminders
• Mobility support and community access
• Social support and companionship

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

Our ideal candidate will hold one of the following:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Home & Community Care; OR
• Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (including students who have successfully completed their first year of study)
• Candidates without relevant qualifications must have at least three months of paid care work experience to be considered.

In addition, you'll need:

• Current Australian working rights
• First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
• Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (we can assist successful candidates with obtaining a Police Check)
