Job summary

Calvary is seeking a Support Worker to assist a diverse range of clients including aged, disability and high needs with daily living activities, domestic assistance, social support and personal care at home and in the community.

You will work in a mission-based, not-for-profit health care environment with flexible hours, development opportunities, salary packaging, and benefits. A valid driver’s licence is required and a certificate is desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable).
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Proficiency with smartphones, email and internet.
• Desire to join a team committed to care in a mission-based organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide Domestic Assistance and Social Support.
• Support Specialist Children and Adult Services, Respite and Personal Care at home and in the community.
• Follow care plans and document observations as required.

About the role

As a Support Worker your role will beto assist a diverse range of clients including aged, disability and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing support services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Specialist Children and Adult Services, Respite and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable)
