Job summary

Calvary Care is seeking a Support Worker to assist clients with activities of daily living in their homes and in the community across the Northern Suburbs / Beaches. This role involves personal care, domestic tasks and meal preparation, with a focus on meaningful routines and client choice.

About the role

As a Support Worker your role will beto assist a diverse range of clients with activities of daily living in their homes and out in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with general domestic tasks, personal care and meal preparation.
• Providing respite care and social support.
• Providing Transport services
• Promote client choice, positive routines and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the client

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or working towards,
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
