Job summary

Aruma is seeking casual Support Workers in Taree/Forster, NSW to help people with disability live more independently through person-centred support, daily living assistance and community participation.

Join a compassionate team and empower individuals to achieve goals, while working flexible shifts (including weekends, evenings, sleepovers) and building strong community connections. Training and support are provided to help you excel in this essential role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates genuine passion for supporting people with disability.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, sleepovers and active nights.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude, empathy and resilience.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR certification.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual goals and aspirations.
• Assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community access.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds or is willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and current First Aid and CPR certification.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a related qualification
• Experience in disability support, aged care, community services, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred support practices.
