Job summary

Aruma is seeking compassionate Casual Support Workers in Cowra, NSW to help people with disability live independent, self-directed lives. You’ll provide person-centred support, assist with daily living, and help participants access the community with dignity and respect.

Flexible shifts, ongoing learning, and a supportive team culture await. Relevant clearances (NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR) are encouraged, and Certificate III in Individual Support is a plus.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is flexible and available for a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, sleepovers, or active nights.
• Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude.
• Communicates effectively and works well within a team.
• Brings a commitment to respect, accountability, and person-centred practice.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant clearances and certifications, including NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and First Aid/CPR.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a related qualification.
• Previous experience in disability, community services, aged care, or support work.
• Knowledge of the NDIS and person-centred supports.
