Job summary

MyCare Keeper in Port Macquarie is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and provide community-based support. You will help with daily living tasks, personal care, meal preparation, transport, and accurate daily records.

A minimum Certificate III in Disability, current First Aid/CPR, NSW Driver Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Disability or an equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Current NSW Driver Licence
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current National Police Certificate
• Own reliable vehicle
• Proof of COVID-19 immunisation
• Previous experience in aged care or disability support is preferred

Job description

Support Worker position with MyCare Keeper supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation and with community access in Port Macquarie. You may be involved in supported independent living, community access and social activities, daily living support, personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, medication assistance, record keeping, and transport and community participation.

Key responsibilities

Driving participants in your own vehicle, with travel reimbursed

About you
