Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area is seeking a committed Support Worker to join an exceptional care home. You will provide high-quality care, assist with personal needs and daily activities, with a permanent full-time contract for 36 hours per week on day or night shifts, paid monthly at £12.80–£13.45 per hour, plus benefits.

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required, DBS costs are covered, and comprehensive induction and training are provided to

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a care setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident well-being and provide high-quality care.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities including outings.
• Encourage independence and support routines for residents.
• Maintain accurate record keeping at all times.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This care home provides an environment where staff enables their residents to feel free to go about their daily lives. They work with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

Key Duties

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
