Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Casino, NSW is hiring a Home Care - Support Worker to help veterans and seniors stay safe and comfortable at home. You will work to deliver personal care, respite support, and companionship, following individual care plans and contributing to a coordinated team effort to maintain independence.

The role offers flexible part-time contracts, hourly pay up to $36.49 depending on experience, and salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• A caring nature and genuine interest in helping people.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members.
• Ability to chat and listen, providing clear, supportive interaction.
• Willingness to use technology for care plans and reporting.
• Australian working rights.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in aged care or disability support is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).

About the Role

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
