RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Home Care - Support Worker in Australia (Dubbo area) to help veterans and seniors stay safe and independent at home. The role offers part-time contracts with flexible availability and benefits like salary packaging and discounts.

You will assist with personal care, respite care, and community activities, following care plans and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality support in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Experience in aged care or disability support.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and use technology.
• Australian working rights.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Police Check and/or NDIS check (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Home Care - Support Worker

Pay rate: up to $39.41 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:

• Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
• Providing respite care (giving carers a break)
• Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
• Following care plans to meet each person’s needs
• Working as a team to provide the best support possible

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

• A caring nature - genuinely passionate about helping people
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability
• Good communication skills with the ability chat and listen to clients and team members
• Ability to work independently & comfortable using technology
• Australian working rights
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured car
• A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
• Experience in aged care or disability support
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.

Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
