RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a compassionate Home Care - Community Support Worker to assist veterans and seniors at home across Australia. You’ll provide personal care, respite support, and help clients stay active in their community, following individual care plans with a team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Caring by nature and passion for helping people.
• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Good communication with clients and team.
• Ability to work independently and use technology.
• Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.
• Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in aged care or disability support.
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Home Care - Community Support Worker

Pay rate: up to $36.49 per hour (based on experience)

Flexible work options: Part-time (contracts depends on your availability)

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:

• Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
• Providing respite care (giving carers a break)
• Helping clients stay active and connected in their community
• Following care plans to meet each person’s needs
• Working as a team to provide the best support possible

To succeed in this role we'd expect you to have:

• A caring nature – genuinely passionate about helping people

• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured car
• A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)
• Experience in aged care or disability support
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
