Kanda is hiring Disability Support Workers in Adelaide to provide person-centered care that builds choice, confidence and independence. You’ll support daily living, transport, and community participation while respecting privacy and rights.
No prior disability experience needed, we value your healthcare or life experience and your willingness to learn. We offer flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends and sleepovers and pay rates from $35 to $46 per hour plus penalties and allowances.
At the end of your shift… You might drive home thinking about the little things that happened today. Maybe someone tried something independently for the first time. Maybe they got through an appointment they'd been anxious about. Maybe they simply made their own lunch - something small to anyone else, but a big deal to them. Not every win looks big from the outside. But when you know the person you’re supporting, you notice the wins that matter to them. That's what makes Disability Support different. You're not ticking off a list - you're helping someone build choice, confidence and independence on their own terms. You might not remember everything you did today. But you'll remember the moments that mattered.
We’re looking for people who:
Your previous career, your life experience and the skills you’ve developed along the way can all make you a great Support Worker.
You might be changing industries or you might be starting something completely new.
Or you might simply be looking for work that feels more meaningful.
Because you don’t need to have done this job before to have the skills to do it well.
Kanda is committed to maintaining a child-safe organisation.
We are proud to foster an inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe, respected and supported - we value diversity and believe it strengthens our team and the communities we serve.
