Job summary

Elders Australia is seeking a casual Support Officer Livestock to join the team. You will support Elders livestock staff through the end-to-end sales process and help move livestock safely and efficiently.

Work closely with the sales processing team and livestock team, assist during sales, and contribute to a collaborative culture with strong literacy and numeracy skills and a solid understanding of WHS practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling livestock.
• Sales yard experience.
• Understanding livestock products and safe livestock handling practices.
• WH&S training or awareness.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

About the role

We are looking for a Support Officer Livestock to join the team on a casual basis.

As an Elders Support Officer Livestock, you will support Elders livestock staff during the execution of sales through the entire end to end process including moving livestock in a safe and orderly manner.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the sales processing team and livestock team
• Assisting during the execution of sales
• Working constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture

About you

• Have experience in handling livestock
• Have sales yard experience
• Understand livestock products and safe livestock handling practices
• Be trained in relevant WHS practices
• Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills
