Job summary

Elders Rockhampton is seeking a Sales Support Officer to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering expert livestock administrative support and underpinning the sales team with excellent service.

In this role you will assist across the end-to-end sales process, build strong client relationships and contribute to the branch’s success with proactive, technology-enabled admin support within Elders’ nationwide network.

• Background in business administration.

• Experience working in a collaborative, livestock-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert livestock administrative processing support to the team.
• Support in all areas of the livestock sales process as well as running the office and administrative assistance to the branch manager & wider livestock team.
• Work with the Elders team to allow clients to explore new innovative opportunities.
• Maximising client sales opportunities, including helping at stud stock sale events.
• Assisting with expense and invoice management to ensure the branch is operating effectively.

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Support Officer to join the Rockhampton team on a permanent, full-time basis. Our Sales Support Officers are the first person our clients communicate with when they interact with Elders. Your expert customer service skills will operate as the backbone of the branch and support the sales teams in maintaining and growing client relationships. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary to take clients through the end-to-end sales process across all facets of the branch including livestock & financial services. The successful candidate will be supported and mentored within the position to ensure they obtain all the skills to enjoy a fruitful career at Elders.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:

• Providing expert livestock administrative processing support to the team, allowing the branch to develop and foster professional relationships
• Providing support in all areas of the livestock sales process as well as running the office and administrative assistance to the branch manager & wider livestock team.
