Riverside is seeking a Support Officer to help provide care and support to clients, enabling informed decisions and improved wellbeing. You will work from one of our supported services, carrying out assessments, planning holistic support, and ensuring customers are informed of their rights and options.

The role focuses on assisting vulnerable individuals, using SMART goals, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with a dedicated team in a flexible working environment.

Formación

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people with diverse needs.
• Passion for helping people.
• Good communication and the ability to engage with vulnerable individuals.
• Strong teamwork and creative problem solving.
• Housing sector knowledge including housing benefit applications.
• Strong IT and social media skills to manage records and administration.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out assessment to identify and prioritise needs.
• Use SMART goal planning to provide needs-led holistic support.
• Create an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop and achieve independence.
• Provide a comprehensive support planning service to customers in line with policies and approach.
• Ensure customers are informed of their rights and responsibilities and enable participation.
• Set up and maintain customer files and accurate records of support provided.
