Job summary

Talent is recruiting experienced Allied Health professionals for APS6 Support Needs Assessor roles with a leading Federal Government agency. These positions span South Australia and Northern Territory (regional and metro), offered on a hybrid basis with an initial contract through December 2026 and potential extension.

You will conduct participant-centred assessments, gather and interpret complex information, prepare evidence-based reports, and apply relevant legislation, policy and assessment

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health or related clinical discipline.
• Experience conducting assessments and preparing professional reports.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Commitment to person-centred and strengths-based practice.

About You

To be successful, you will possess:

• A recognised tertiary qualification in an Allied Health or relevant clinical discipline, including:
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Social Work
  • Psychology
  • Nursing
  • Counselling or similar
• Experience conducting assessments and preparing professional reports
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• A commitment to person-centred and strengths-based practice
• The ability to work effectively within legislative and policy frameworks
